Gloria

Chilean director Sebastian Lelio, working on the screenplay with Gonzalo Maza, depicts the life of a divorced middle-aged woman in his film GLORIA, played with sensitivity by PAULINA GARCIA. She seems a bit alienated from her children, single father Pedro (Diego Fontecilla) and yoga-teaching daughter Ana - FABIOLA ZAMORA who is in love with a Swedish ski enthusiast. Gloria is not one to sit around at home and mope with the neighbour's intrusive cat, she's off to a local dance club where sometimes she forms a connection, sometimes not. And then she meets Rodolfo - SERGIO HERNANDEZ - a divorcee of one year.


The only trouble with Rodolfo, and there is a lot, is that he can't seem to wean himself away from his demanding family, dependent daughters and accident-prone ex-wife.
