"Stories From Home" is a program of short films by First Nations storytellers and artists residing with the Bundjalung nation. Experience stories with themes of culture, community and the journeys of connecting to home.

Combining both narrative and documentary styles in a stunning showcase of creativity on screen, these films will both uplift and inspire.  From cultural richness in "Healing Heart, Healing Country" to identity "Bangay Lore" and truth telling "Mother's Little Helpers" and "Coming Home."  Local First Nations filmmakers include Karla Dickens, Jenny Fraser, Jahvis Loveday, Coedie McCarthy, Kylie Caldwell and Mitch King.

The event is a lead up to NAIDOC week with this years theme being "Keep the fire burning! Blak, Loud and Proud."

A Q&A will take place after the first screening for anyone that would like to connect with the filmmakers about their work and why they made that particular film.   This is an artist lead initiative so all the proceeds will go back to supporting the artists and encouraging the next potential film makers within the Bundjalung nation.
