Karate Kid - Fundraising for Heda Schools, Tanzania

Join us for a nostalgic evening of martial arts, life lessons, and classic '80s nostalgia at our Movie Fundraiser, featuring The Karate Kid (1984)! Whether you're a longtime fan or experiencing it for the first time, this heartwarming underdog story will take you back to the days of wax-on, wax-off, and the unforgettable teachings of Mr. Miyagi.

Enjoy the timeless tale of Daniel LaRusso as he overcomes challenges and learns the true meaning of discipline and strength under the guidance of his wise mentor. It’s a perfect night for all ages, filled with action, laughs, and inspiration.

Homeschoolers, Rosie & Katie, have put this fundraiser together to support students in Tanzania. Proceeds from the event will go towards purchasing Heda School’s first textbooks and begin their new library. 

Before the movie raffle tickets will be available to purchase at 3 for $5, prizes include Karate Lessons from Miyagi Kan Karate Lismore, Bonsai from Bonsai Bliss Lismore and more. If you would like to make a direct donation, look out for Katie & Rosie with their donation tins on the day.
