In this next concert the Lismore Symphony Orchestra conducted by Ian Bowles will present a programme with a variety of well known classical works by Beethoven, Elgar, Dvorak, Mozart, Brahms, Mendelssohn, Verdi and Zimmer.
The concert features Lecia Robertson as a guest artist. Lecia is a soprano who has performed as a principal artist with the State Opera Companies from South Australia, Victoria and Queensland. She will be performing two enchantingly beautiful songs: “Vilia” from The Merry Widow by Franz Lehar; and “Vissi d’arte, vissi d’amore” from Tosca by Giacomo Puccini.
The LSO is looking forward to performing at the Star Court Theatre again. The recent renovations provide an ambience and aesthetic beauty which when combined with the lovely acoustics bring a richness to the wonderful experience of hearing a live Symphony Orchestra in concert.
