Empire Records

As we start winding down for the year, it's time for our usual dose of light-hearted November fun. Cult Classic Lismore is teaming up with our good friends The Audio Room to bring Empire Records to the Star Court Theatre.

Set over one chaotic day at an independent record store, this much-loved '90s cult classic follows its teenage staff as they navigate crushes, questionable decisions and the looming threat of a corporate takeover.

Starring Liv Tyler, Renée Zellweger, Robin Tunney and Rory Cochrane, and backed by a classic '90s alternative rock soundtrack, it's a celebration of friendship, finding your people and the places that mean more than just somewhere to buy music.

A great film, handpicked by one of Lismore's favourite record stores.

Join us at Star Court Theatre for a night of '90s nostalgia, great music and questionable life choices.
